There’s obviously been a huge amount of care and attention paid to not change the game significantly but there are discussions ongoing within the community about the future of Diablo 2 once Resurrected has been released.įor more than two decades dedicated fans have continued their adventures in Sanctuary, some sticking with the game as it was originally conceived, and others using various mods.

However, despite no updates appearing for the game it hasn’t stopped fans playing which is a real testament to just how good Diablo 2 is. As you can see, there’s a huge time gap between patches and the game was very much in maintenance mode by that point.

Patch 1.11 was the last update to add any notable game changes and fixes and that was released a decade earlier in 2005.

Created new German installers to fix localization issues in Act V (Will require a fresh install to fix the missing dialogue data).

Capped the frame rate to 200 to save batteries, spare system load, and prevent hot lap syndrome.

Fixed Mac client crash on “Save & Exit”.

Mercenaries will no longer become “An Evil Force”.

Glide Wrapper will now load properly on PC by adding -3dfx to the end of the game shortcut.
